Qu Qiubai introduced: In late February 1935, more than 300 people, including Qu Qiubai, were captured by troops from Shanghang. On May 9, Qu Qiubai was escorted to Changting. While in custody, he wrote his final work "Superfluous Words". On the morning of June 18, after Qu Qiubai finished writing his final poem, he walked out of his cell with a calm demeanor and went to take photos in front of the pavilion in Zhongshan Park, leaving behind his final moments. After dinner and drinks, they walked calmly to the execution place, singing "The Internationale" and "The Red Army Song" in Russian along the way, and shouting slogans such as "Long live the Chinese Communist Party" and "Long live Communism". When he arrived at Luohan Ridge, he chose a grassy slope to sit down, smiled and nodded to the executioner and said: "This place is very good!" Then he drank bullets and sprinkled blood, and died calmly. He was only thirty-six years old.
