Introduction to Luohan Hall: Luohan Hall is also an outstanding building of Baoguang Temple. It is about 10 meters high, 40 meters wide and deep, and covers an area of 1,600 square meters. It was built by monk Miao Sheng during the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty. The whole hall is supported by one hundred stone pillars. It has a solid structure and a clever layout. There are four patios neatly arranged in the hall. The plane is like a "field", and it is difficult to distinguish the east, west, north and south. There are five hundred Arhat statues and Bidhi Bodhisattva statues in the hall. There are a total of 557 statues of Bodhisattva, Banhan and Patriarchs from past dynasties in the whole hall. Each statue is about 1.7 meters high, standing or sitting, with different expressions, lifelike and exquisite craftsmanship. In the center of the hall, the 6.6-meter-tall Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva with Thousand Arms and Thousand Eyes is enshrined, facing all directions. All the statues are masterpieces handed down from generation to generation, which took nine years to be sculpted by Li Guangxiu, the Sichuan sculptor master at that time, and his disciples. They can be called "a pearl of oriental sculpture art".
