Introduction to the Jade Buddha: The Hemo Jade Buddha enshrined in the Main Hall of the Jade Buddha Temple is the largest Hemo Jade Buddha in the world so far. The Jade Buddha was carefully carved by a famous carver from the Yangzhou Jade Carving Factory after one year and three months. The Jade Buddha is made of Hemo jade from Xiuyan (Hemo jade has been designated as China's national jade), with a diameter of 1.2 meters and a weight of 11.8 tons. After carving and processing, the net height of the Buddha is 1.8 meters, and the total height of the Jade Buddha is 2.8 meters. At 6.9 tons, it is the largest Hemo Jade Buddha in the world so far.
