Introduction to the Tomb of the Martyrs of the Majiang Battle: The Tomb of the Martyrs of the Majiang Battle is located in the west of Zhaozhong Temple. Due to the tragic situation of the Majiang Battle, most of the remains of the martyrs were bloody and unrecognizable. Their bones were buried together on Maxian Mountain and divided into nine parts. Tombs, each have a "Loyal Tomb" stone tablet.
In 1920, the Zhaozhong Temple was rebuilt, and the nine tombs and the remains of a group of martyrs next to the Mawei Shipyard dock were moved in and a large tomb was built. The stele pavilion in front of the tomb was welded from shipboard; "The place where the bones of Majiang warriors were buried on the third day of the seventh month of the year."
In 1984, the Zhaozhong Temple was renovated again. A granite platform was built in front of the cemetery, and a huge stone stele pavilion was built. There were green pines and cypresses beside the tomb, and hundreds of majestic rocks behind the tomb.
