Introduction to Qiupu Tower: The Xiushan Gate Museum is located in one of the seven ancient city gates in Chizhou. Xiushan Gate was the west gate of the ancient Chizhou City. In the second year of Duanping of the Song Dynasty (AD 1235), Wang Boda, the magistrate of Chizhou, changed the then Qiupu Gate to Xiushan Gate in memory of Prince Liang Zhaoming. During the Cultural Revolution, the city gate was destroyed and rebuilt in 2002.
