Introduction to the Historical Corridor of Ba’s Celebrities: “Bazhe, the name of an ancient country, is located in today’s Chongqing City and the eastern part of Sichuan Province.” The eastern Sichuan area was called "Ba Fang" during the Xia Dynasty (4100-3600 years ago). In 316 BC, the Ba State was destroyed by the Qin State and the King of Ba was captured. The Qin State built a city in Jiangzhou (today's Chongqing), established Batu, and incorporated Badi into the Qin State's county system. The Ba Kingdom was formed in the early Western Zhou Dynasty in the 11th century BC and perished in the middle of the Warring States Period in 316 BC, with a history of about 800 years.
