Introduction to the Ksitigarbha Hall: In the Ksitigarbha Hall, a statue of the wise elder is enshrined. Elder Wei Xian is a leading figure in contemporary Chinese Buddhism and a master of Wei Shi. He was the abbot of Ciyun Temple for nearly 30 years. He promoted Buddhism throughout his life and traveled all over the world. He wrote "Prajna and Life", "Notes on Consciousness Only", "Buddha Dharma in the World", "Essentials of the Avatamsaka Sutra", "Collected Speeches of Elder Wei Xian", etc.
