Introduction to the air-raid shelter: There is a tightly closed air-raid shelter at Shibati. During the Anti-Japanese War, the massacre at Jiaochangkou that shocked China and the world took place here. On June 5, 1941, the Japanese army bombed Chongqing. More than 20 aircraft began to attack Chongqing at night in batches starting from the evening. The attack lasted for three hours. Because the number of people evacuating in the 18-staircase air-raid shelter exceeded the capacity, and the ventilation in the tunnel was poor, 2,500 people suffocated to death, resulting in the "Jiaochangkou" tragedy that shocked China and the world.
