Introduction to the site of Huangpu Military Academy Anju: In 1938, Nanjing Huangpu Military Academy was ordered to retreat and move to Chengdu in the rear. On the way westward, it continued to study and train in Anju Town, Tongliang, Chongqing. The 14th batch of Huangpu students were trained from the Army Officer School in Anju Town, and more than 6,500 graduates went to the anti-Japanese front line. It was not until 1942 that the Whampoa Military Academy moved to Chengdu.
