Introduction to the Shrimp Stone Arrow Tower: In the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, Zhang Xianzhong, Yao Tiandong, Huang Long and the "Thirteen Families of Kuidong" successively rebelled in eastern Sichuan. They attacked the city, looted the lake, and brutally slaughtered for decades, causing the area to be devastated, people's livelihood was in ruins, and the population was reduced sharply. In the seventh year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1688), Mr. Chen Siye, a water-dividing gentleman, funded the construction of the archery tower at the cliff pass of Yuejun Mountain on the "Wanda Ancient Road" (Wanzhou to Dazhou) to defend and attack rebels and protect his family and people. The Shrimp Stone Arrow Tower is one of the typical representatives of defensive residential buildings in eastern Sichuan. It is 1,200 meters above sea level, facing north and south. It is a stone and wood structure with a square plane, three floors and one bottom. It is 11.8 meters high and 7 meters long on each side. The construction area is 196 square meters. There are windows, lookout holes, shooting holes, etc. on the four walls. The residential-style gate is 2.17 meters high and 1.12 meters wide. The stone door frame is rust-engraved with a couplet in Di calligraphy.
