Introduction to the Golden Ship: The treasure of the Gold Museum is the exquisitely crafted and priceless treasure, the Golden Ship. There is a beautiful story behind it. Legend has it that back then, the leader of the Chibuka tribe was covered in gold powder and carried various items with him. Gold-like sacrifices take this "gold boat" to the sacred Lake Guadavida to worship the gods, and then wash the gold powder and gold sacrifices all over their bodies in the lake. The worshiping Indians will also throw all their gold ornaments into the lake. Entering the lake, over time, the entire lake was filled with various types of gold.
This legend brought disaster to the Chibuka people. The barbaric Spanish colonists not only looted the gold of the Chibuka people, but also dug up the graves of civilians and stole the gold products buried with them. Lake Guarda Vida was turned upside down, and all the gold that sank to the bottom of the lake was swept away. So much so that the various gold objects in the Gold Museum now have a gloomy tone, as if they are indicting the barbaric Spanish bandits who burned, killed, and robbed the Indians crazily and cruelly centuries ago.
