Introduction to Thuparama Dagaba: Thuparama Dagaba is the relic stupa of Anuradhapura. It was built in 250-210 BC. The clavicle relics of the Buddha are enshrined in the tower. The tower is now in the shape of a "bell". The original carved stone pillars around the tower supported the dome with Sinhalese architectural characteristics. The dome does not exist now, but the surrounding stone pillars still remain. The stone pillars are arranged in 2-4 concentric circles, and the outer stone pillars are smaller than the inner ones. The column body is slender and gracefully proportioned. The upper part is decorated with lotus flowers and is engraved with reliefs of dwarfs, geese, lions, etc.
