Synagogue introduction: The Synagogue in Cordoba was built in 1315 and is one of the only two remaining synagogues in Spain (the other is in Toledo). The Old Jewish Quarter is the historical Jewish settlement in Cordoba. After the 15th century, the Jews were expelled from Spain. The streets in the old Jewish quarter are generally narrow and complicated, with residences on both sides surrounded by buildings with atriums, and the walls and window sills are decorated with ceramic tiles and fences. There are relics of the old Jewish quarter in many cities in Spain. The old Jewish quarter of Cordoba has relatively well maintained its original style and has been included in the World Cultural Heritage.
