Taiping Temple Introduction: Wenzhou Taiping Temple is one of the famous temples in Wenzhou. It is located at the southern foot of Cuiwei Mountain, surrounded by mountains and rivers, with pleasant scenery. The temple was first built in 942 AD, when Buddhism was at its peak. Therefore, eminent monks gathered together, the incense was strong, and it became famous far and wide. Every eighth day of the first lunar month, believers inside and outside Wenzhou come here to burn incense and worship Buddha, which is an unprecedented event.
