Introduction to the Daigosan Ten Thousand Lantern Festival: The Daigoji Mountain Association holds the "Daigosan Ten Thousand Lantern Festival" on August 5 every year. The lanterns offered at the Upper Daigo Point are "night-gathered", and the number of lanterns offered at the Lower Daigo Point is more than 1,000. In the illuminated shrine, "rites to support the dead" and "rituals to save all living beings" are held. On that day, buildings such as the National Treasure Golden Hall and the five-story pagoda are illuminated, creating a quiet and fantasy-like atmosphere.
