Introduction to the fragrant cedar tree: The thousand-year-old fragrant cedar tree, the "living treasure" of Wuwei Temple, has been included in the list of "China's rare and valuable ancient trees". According to rough calculations, this ancient fragrant cedar tree is about 24 meters high, has a girth of about 7.1 meters one meter above the ground, and is about 1,300 years old. Tangshan, the founder of the Tangshan Mountain, Zantuohuo Duo, brought five fragrant cedar trees with Tianzhu. He and King Yimo planted three of them here, and the other two were planted in the palace. Time has changed and the remaining trees have been hard to find, but this one is the only one. Through the turbulence of the Tang and Song Dynasties, the Ming and Qing dynasties, the temple still protected the front of the temple. In the 1940s, the art master Xu Beihong came to visit because of its reputation and specially painted the tree in memory. Later, the temple was destroyed and the tree withered. After the Third Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the country's fortunes were once again victorious. The dead trees sprouted new buds again and were rejuvenated. The spirituality of the trees can be seen here. Because the ancient trees were majestic and straight, with branches like dragons coiling around their trunks, the people in the city also called them Laolong. Tree.
