Damascus Museum Introduction: is the largest museum in Syria. It was built in 1936 according to the architectural form of the collapsed palace of the Caliph Abdul Malik of the Umayyad Dynasty of the Arab Empire, using materials from the old palace. The museum is a light yellow square building. The main entrance is made of large stones. There are circular bunkers on the left and right sides and four corners. Each bunker is engraved with exquisite patterns and has a solemn and dignified style. It mainly collects Greek cultural relics and cultural relics from the Eastern Roman era and the Islamic era. Most of the more precious cultural relics are from the Greek era.
