Introduction to the First Party Branch of Siming Mountain: In May 1939, Zhu Zhiguang, District Committee Special Commissioner, Xie Ruchang, District Committee Propaganda Committee Member, and Shen Gongtian, District Committee Organization Committee member, held a secret party group meeting in a triple courtyard in Shilin Village and established Shilin Village Party Branch of the Communist Party of China, with Shen Deshun as branch secretary. At this point, the first party branch in Siming Mountain District was born in Shilin Village. After the establishment of the Shilin Village Party branch, it actively carried out anti-Japanese and national salvation activities, organized villagers to join the Self-Defense Forces, and mobilized the masses to send letters, food, and supplies to the troops to provide strong backing for the troops. He also led the battles to suppress bandits and hegemony and resist the Japanese invaders, and made outstanding contributions to overthrowing the reactionary rule of the Kuomintang and ushering in the liberation of New China.
