Introduction to Benbo Temple: Benbo means "the temple inside the grass dam" in Tibetan. It is named after the temple was built under the sacred mountain in a grassland. The temple was built in the fifth year of Chunxi in the Southern Song Dynasty (AD 1178). The temple belongs to the Kagyu sect (and the Baijiao temple) and has a very precious statue of Karma as his master.
