Introduction to Daomaguan: It is called Daomaxiongguan because of its "oddness, danger and beauty". It was first called Hongshanguan Pass during the Warring States Period, Changshan Pass in the Han Dynasty, Tieguan Pass in the Northern Wei Dynasty, and Daomaguan Pass in the Ming Dynasty. Together with Juyong Pass and Zijin Pass, it was collectively known as the "Three Nei Passes". There are existing east and west city gates, government halls, beacon towers and some remains of the city wall.
