Introduction to Xianglin Zen Temple: Xianglin Zen Temple was formerly known as Xianglin Yuan. It was first built in the third year of Qianyou of the Later Han Dynasty (AD 950), and was renamed Xianglin Temple in the third year of Zhiping of the Song Dynasty (AD 1066). It has been more than a thousand years. The existing building was built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty and has two front and rear entrances plus side rooms on both sides. The temple is surrounded by a sea of bamboos and pines, and many stone carvings and historical relics from the Qing Dynasty remain inside.
