Introduction to Po Lin Monastery: Also known as Po Lin Monastery, it is located in Ngong Ping, Lantau Island, New Territories. It is known as the Nantian Buddhist Kingdom and is the first of the four major Zen forests in Hong Kong.
In front of Baolian Temple, there is a square and a cupola-style stone archway with three rooms, four pillars and three floors. The main buildings in the temple include the palace-style Main Hall and the solemn and majestic Tianwang Hall. The main hall is dedicated to the third Buddha.
This temple provides accommodation for tourists to go to Fenghuang Mountain to watch the sunrise or have a short retreat.
