Introduction to the Prince Memorial Hall: The Prince Memorial Hall (Museum het Prinsenhof) was rebuilt on the residence of Prince William (Willem de Zwijger/Willem the Silent, 1533-1584), the founding father of the Netherlands. It is a two-story building. In the old days, this was a nunnery where William the Silent, the founding father of the Netherlands, was assassinated here in 1584.
