Introduction to India Gate: India Gate, also known as the "Indian Warrior Monument", is located in the heart of New Delhi and is a prominent landmark of New Delhi. Its shape resembles the Arc de Triomphe in France. It was built to commemorate the Indian soldiers who died in World War I. The names of more than 90,000 Indian and British officers and soldiers are engraved on the wall.
Transportation: Take the yellow line or purple line to Central Secretariat station, walk 2 kilometers or take a tuk-tuk/human-powered three-wheeler.
Admission is free and open all day.
