Introduction to Lakshmi-Narayan Temple: Lakshmi-Narayan Temple is the most famous Hindu temple in Delhi, referred to as the Goddess Temple. It was built with funds from the Birla consortium, so it is also called the Birla Mandir. In Hinduism, the goddess of auspiciousness symbolizes wealth, beauty and prosperity. The temple is mainly yellow and red, which is slightly different from other Hindu temples. The temple is richly decorated and enshrines the statue of the auspicious Goddess.
Transportation: Take the blue line of rail transit to RK Ashram Marg station, walk 2 kilometers or take a tuk-tuk/human-powered three-wheeler to arrive.
Opening hours: 6:00-22:00, tickets are free.
