Introduction to the Astronomical Clock Tower: The Astronomical Clock Tower is entered from the City Hall. The towering spire is 106 meters high. You can take the elevator to the top of the tower. It is the best place to overlook the city. Above the clock tower door, you can see a carefully designed "Astronomical Clock", which is about 2 meters high and 3 meters wide. It is composed of 15,000 parts and 445 gears, and has 13 sets of machinery inside. The device operates simultaneously, displaying time around the world as well as various astronomical times.
This astronomical clock is housed in a sealed glass box that can adjust temperature and humidity. It is the most accurate mechanical clock in the world, with an error of only 11.4 seconds every 300 years. It has 11 clock faces, which can tell people the name, date, year and month of the Gregorian calendar, movement of constellations, solar time, Central European time and sidereal time, etc., so it is called an astronomical clock. This clock was made by Olesen, a Danish self-taught astrophysicist and mechanical engineer, who spent more than 20 years of hard work. There is an endless stream of domestic and foreign tourists coming to visit.
