Public Library Introduction: In 1990, Denver citizens voted to approve a $91 million contract to build a new Denver Public Library. The city of Denver finally decided to hand over the design rights to the famous architect Michelle Graves and hired Denver's most famous architectural engineering company, Collip Company, to carry out the construction. However, its final effect is not ideal. The Denver Public Library was completed in 1995 and has a large area of 540,000 square feet. Before the library was completed, Graves predicted that the design would be his best work. However, after the project was completed, it was unanimously criticized by the architectural community. Many architects believe that the interior design and decoration of the library are far superior to its appearance.
