Introduction to Baofengyan Temple: Baofengyan Temple was built in the 23rd year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (AD 1595). It was rebuilt in the 29th year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty. It was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution and rebuilt in 1995. The temple is backed by Baofeng Rock. The rock wall is as flat as a knife, covered with green bamboo on both sides, and the environment is elegant. There is a main hall in the temple dedicated to gods and Buddhas, and side rooms on both sides provide accommodation for the faithful men and women who care for the temple.
