Introduction to the Grotto Statue Group: The Baifoshan Grotto Statue Group is located in a quiet valley in Shanyang at an altitude of 300 meters. It is divided into four caves and contains 148 statues, 132 of which exist today. The dates range from the seventh year of Emperor Kaihuang's reign in the Sui Dynasty (587 AD) to the Kaibao period of the Song Dynasty (968-975 AD).
