Introduction to Zhongying Temple: Zhongying Temple is located in Xiashui Village on the east bank of Dongqian Lake. The temple is dedicated to Wang Anshi, the magistrate of Yin County in the Song Dynasty. It is called "Wang Anshi Temple" by the villagers. The temple was built during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, and the existing temple was rebuilt during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty.
Zhongying Temple is a five-bay quadrangle-style hard-mounted building, consisting of a gatehouse, a stage, a patio, a main hall, and a wing building: a pair of flagpoles and brackets stand tall in front of the gate, and a color portrait of Wang Anshi is painted on the front of the foyer, with a book by Wang Anshi on both sides. He wrote "Travel Notes in Yin County" and "Renovation of Zhongying Temple"; in the middle of the main hall, there is a clay-colored seated statue of Wang Anshi, and a black-background gold plaque with the words "Be Diligent and Love the People" hangs high between the beams. The left and right screens are painted with large pictures of Wang Anshi's achievements in governing Yin. Murals; there is a stage with overhanging eaves and a mountain top in front of the patio. The top of the stage is a spiral caisson, which is made up of hundreds of flower panels densely stacked and circling layer by layer. There is a round bronze mirror in the center, the top of the stage is set off by a wishful-shaped bucket arch, and flowers are painted between the beams and eaves. Carved and decorated; there are dragon-style railings around the gate tower and wing rooms. The whole temple is solemn and glorious, and you feel a sense of admiration when you stand in it.
