Introduction to St. Paul's Cathedral: St. Paul's Cathedral is a Gothic architectural revival building built between 1915 and 1919. It is the only church with a vaulted nave made of lime. The 38-step marble staircase leading to the door was cut from Nelson's Takaka Mountain.
