Introduction to Olveston Historic House: Olveston Historic House (Olveston) is close to the city center and is a very famous historical building in Dunedin. It has 35 rooms of different sizes with elegant appearance and exquisite decoration. The room was built by a businessman named David Theomin and his family. During the booming gold rush era, the owner became one of the richest people in the area by buying and selling antiques and home furnishings. Visiting Osweton Historic House, visitors can learn about the lives of wealthy families during the First World War. The house and its furnishings underwent minor changes between 1906 and 1926. It is also a small collection hall, displaying the owner's collection of valuable oil paintings, furniture and works of art.
