Introduction to the Yellow-Eyed Penguin: The Yellow-Eyed Penguin has a pair of yellow eyes, and its fur is white and brown. It looks different from ordinary penguins with distinct black and white fur. They are the smallest of the 18 existing species of penguins and are therefore listed as endangered. Unlike other penguins that live together in groups, yellow-eyed penguins live in individual nests as a family unit. Yellow-eyed penguins are very loyal and will not find a new love unless their partner has problems with continuing the family line. Yellow-eyed penguins have a strong sense of family. At dusk, yellow-eyed penguins will return to their nests on land in groups from the sea.
