Introduction to the Grottoes: The West Grottoes are for the Three Generations of Buddhas, representing the past, present and future of the Buddha. Among them, the West Grottoes were completed in the Northern Qi Dynasty, the Middle Grottoes were completed in the Tang Dynasty, and the East Grottoes were completed in the Song Dynasty. In 1994, it was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in Hebei Province.
