Introduction to the 37E-1 electric locomotive: The 37E-1 electric locomotive was manufactured in the early 1950s at the Koda Factory in Czechoslovakia, introduced in 1959, and retired in 2002. Mainly used for coal and stripping production transportation, rescue of broken down locomotives and rescue of accident trains.
