Introduction to the Monument to the Fallen Soldiers of the Anti-Japanese War: The Monument to the Fallen Soldiers of the Anti-Japanese War was established by the Guantou Branch of the Anti-Japanese Support Association of Lianjiang County in 1939. It was originally planned to commemorate the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the Anti-Japanese War in the Guantou area after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. The name is engraved on the back of the monument for future generations to commemorate. However, when the Anti-Japanese War ended in 1945, the "Support Association" had long since been cancelled. During the Anti-Japanese War, countless people from more than a dozen villages in the Guantou area died participating in the Anti-Japanese War. The more prominent ones were the two martyrs Ni Chaojun and Lin Jie.
