Introduction to Qinglian Pavilion: Along the Jiuqu Bridge, you will reach Qinglian Pavilion. Qinglian Pavilion, also known as Qusi Hall, was originally built by Yan Shu during the Jingde period of Song Zhenzong when he was the minister of the Yingzhou Ministry of Industry. Ouyang Xiu renovated it and later abandoned it. It went through several major transformations in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The current Qinglian Pavilion was restored and rebuilt in 1993. It is a five-story antique pavilion-style building with winding corridors and sills, cornices, glass colored tiles, and a jeweled roof. There are exquisitely carved ancient murals inside, in which the eight major sceneries of the ancient Yingzhou West Lake are shown.
