Ermei Bookstore (Fujian Provincial Folklore Museum) Introduction: Located at No. 25 on the south side of the west section of Langguan Lane, it was the residence of Lin Xingzhang, a Jinshi scholar in the sixth year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (1826). It was named after two plum trees planted in the courtyard. It was first built in the late Ming Dynasty and underwent several major repairs during the Daoguang and Tongzhi periods of the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. Sitting south and facing north, it has five entrances in total, front, rear, left and right, covering an area of 2434 square meters. It leads from Langguan Lane to Tower Lane. Now it is the Fujian Provincial Folk Museum, which displays thousands of Ming and Qing furniture, calligraphy and paintings and other cultural relics. It is the largest Ming and Qing furniture exhibition hall with the most varieties and the highest cultural relic value in Fujian Province.
