Introduction to Wang Qi’s Former Residence: It was first built in the Qing Dynasty, and was restored during the Qianlong, Jiaqing and Republic of China periods. It has been preserved to this day and is now the site of the Fujian Contemporary Craft Treasures Museum. The former residence now has a total area of 2,225 square meters and consists of two side-by-side three-entry courtyards. It was formerly the "Changting Guild Hall". In the old days, there was only one entrance and exit. The front door was in Tower Lane and the back door was in Langguan Lane. It was surrounded by walls and faced south. No. 28 on the east side of the main seat is the flower hall, which consists of a patio, a hall, a wing, a pavilion, a garden, etc. Especially the buildings renovated in the early Republic of China have a Western architectural style. Glass skylights are used in the patios, which not only facilitates lighting but also prevents rain.
