Introduction to Dacheng Gate: Dacheng Gate was called Ji Gate in ancient times. It is five rooms wide and two rooms deep. The roofs of the three middle rooms are higher than those on the two sides, with three pairs of bluestone drums and eight stone eaves. On the inner left side of Dacheng Gate are two stone tablets "Inscription on the Reconstruction of Fuzhou Confucian Temple in the First Year of Xianfeng". Guo Baiyin wrote the text and the 190-cross inscription. Liu Yongsong wrote seal script on the forehead of the tablet, and the craftsman Jiang Xuexin.
