Introduction to the seated statue of Confucius: In the Dacheng Hall, there are six replicas of large plaques written by five emperors following Emperor Kangxi. In the middle of the hall sits a newly made bluestone seated statue of Confucius, 25.51 meters high. On both sides are the "Four Matches" (Yan Hui, Zisi, Zeng Shen, Mencius). "Shaolao" (pig, sheep) sacrifices were placed in front of the "Four Matches".
