Introduction to Kumbh Mela: "Kumbh Mela" is the largest religious Hindu gathering in the world and one of the most attended festivals in the world. Its name comes from ancient Indian myths and legends. The Kumbh Mela is held alternately in the four cities of Allahabad, Haridwar, Ujjan and Nasir, and returns to the same city to host it every 12 years. The festival is divided into a small ceremony every three years, a half ceremony every six years, a big ceremony every 12 years and the Holy Pot Festival every 144 years.
