Introduction to the Museum of the Reformation: The International Museum of the Reformation is located next to St. Peter's Basilica, the Holy Land of the Reformation. It took 45 years from planning to opening.
The museum was built in May 1536, when the declaration of the religious reform centered on Calvin was officially carried out here. The museum makes full use of the interior decoration of 1719 and is equipped with the latest audio-visual equipment and technology to introduce visitors to the past and present of the religious revolution. The museum is connected to the archaeological information library under the St. Pierre Cathedral through an underground passage. It is an Espace Part of St.Pierre.
