Gate introduction: Beethoven's former residence is the only well-preserved residence of the Beethoven family in Bonn. In 1889, the house faced the threat of being demolished. 12 citizens of Bonn bought the house and established the current memorial hall. It can be seen that the local people miss and admire Beethoven.
