Introduction to Tianwang Hall: The temple is generally oriented from north to south. On the central axis from south to north are: Shanmen, Tianwang Hall, Main Hall, Huayan Pavilion, and Baiyi Pavilion. There are symmetrical buildings on both sides: Ksitigarbha Hall, Water and Land Hall, Patriarch Hall, Bell Tower, etc. There is a dining hall in the east, a meditation hall in the west, as well as the east gate room, the east and west abbot's room and the monk's room. There was originally a huge ginkgo tree inside the mountain gate. It grew more than 10 times over the course of more than 2,000 years. Unfortunately, it was cut down to build a school building during the Republic of China.
