Mr. Sheng Tongsheng introduced: The predecessor of Gansu Agricultural University is the National Veterinary College founded in Lanzhou in October 1946. He is a famous veterinary scientist, veterinary educator, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and one of the founders of modern veterinary medicine in China. Mr. Sheng Tongsheng served as the first dean.
