Introduction to Liyuan: Liyuan is located in Genghua Village, Beiyi Township, Tangkou Town, Kaiping. It is a garden villa built in the early 20th century by the late Mr. Xie Weili, an overseas Chinese in the United States.
The garden is based on the Grand View Garden described in "A Dream of Red Mansions". It integrates traditional gardening and the characteristics of Jiangnan water towns.
