Introduction to Bailian Lake: Bailian Lake is located in the center of Zhumingdong Scenic Area, with a total area of about 10,000 square meters. It was named after green lotus plants in the past. The Lake Center Bridge and Lake Center Pavilion were built in 1959. There are now more than 40,000 koi in the lake, making it an ideal place for tourists to entertain, release animals and watch the scenery.
It is said that when Zhang Songqing, a Boluo native of the Song Dynasty, was born, his father Mengren gave him a poem: "White Lotus on the White Lotus Pond, became famous all over the world in one fell swoop. Forty-two years of leisure and wealth, the boat returned empty and full of bright moon." He studied hard at Shuiliandong in Luofu Mountain for 10 years. During the Ding Chou period of Shaoxing in the Song Dynasty, Chun Qiu Kui was the best in the world. He later served as the governor of Zhaoqing County and was an honest official. When he died of illness at the age of 42, he only had a few sets of commoners left. In order to fulfill the dream poem, the coffin was carried on the ship and buried under Magu Peak by the White Lotus Pond.
