Introduction to King Shigu: According to legend, King Shigu was a national hero in ancient Xingning. He was revered as a god for his merits in protecting his family and country. In order to commemorate this legendary hero, later generations built an altar and a palace nearby. There is a horizontal plaque above the altar with the words "Yangu Tianquan" written in large lacquered gold letters. These four characters can be broken down to read "One person from Yamaguchi, King Shigu".
