Introduction to the Great Geographic Discovery: China's maritime history came to an end with the beginning of the Ming Dynasty's sea ban policy, and another era of great navigation quietly began in Europe. This is the famous era of geographical discovery in history. In this exhibition hall, through textual explanations, picture records, and the display of major model statues, visitors are more deeply shown the pioneering achievements of European and American navigators in conquering the ocean during this great historical period.
